North Carolina Tax Dollars Hard At Work

Coming back from Charlotte on Monday we took the new Interstate 85 around Greensboro. We then got off at Alamance Church Road at 10:22 am. We thought this would be faster, we didn't realize we would hit road construction. However, I am so glad we did, otherwise the opportunity to see our NC tax dollars at work would not have happened.

This was taken at 10:25 am, while we were waiting on line. As you can see the flagman has us stopped. Which means that the road crew is hard at work right?

Well they were..... All except this guy

It must be he had a hard night and figured this was a good time to catch some Zzzzzz. It was also a good time for me to catch him on camera. Too bad the hard working crew had to watch him sleeping. I do have other shots. He does pick up his head a little when the cars start coming from the other way.

But he goes right back to laying down.
