Ick! I was sick last night and just didn't get enough sleep, so I'm kind of sluggish today.
Had a great time last night helping someone with their blog. They wanted to add links on the side to blogs they read. It has been a while since I've done computer help and this was through IMs which was a definite first. Like I said it was fun though.
Well my favorite grocery store for meats changed hands. I like to shop at Weaver Street or Fresh Market for their organic things and try to as often as I can. However, I like Bi-Lo for their deals, they usually have a lot of buy one get one and if you don't get the second one they will charge you half for the first. Highly unusual. This might be awful to say but I hate to waste my money on organic food for people who don't appreciate it - e.g. DS1 and my parents. If my father hears something is organic he will go on and on about how it is a rip off, there is no standards, you don't know if it is or not blah blah blah! My Mom just goes along with him and agrees. So why pay more for something he won't enjoy anyway. BUT!!! get this, when I was to their house the coffee they bought was organic, they claimed they didn't even know it. Then when they came down they had something, forgot what it was, and that also was organic. I naturally had to be a smart ass and say something, and Dad was yeah so we like the flavor. DUH!!!! that is the whole point of organic, you don't have the mix of chemicals to the flavor. Organic is supposed to be from seed right on up, so it is a natural taste.
Well anyway, K-Mart had some great meat prices so I decided to do some shopping there. What a waste, no wonder they are going under. Now mind you, I got the flyer on Sunday and we went on Monday. I would say that most of what was on my list was not on the shelves. One good thing they had a lot of SB supplies on clearance. Now at one time this K-Mart did not have SB supplies, or should I say they did, they got rid of them during their closing period, and now have restocked.
Here is what I picked up. Ten packs of card stock some embellishments and scissors.
This is great because I needed the cardstock for some Xmas items I'm making. Which reminds me I need to get off here so I can do my Rolodex Swap Cards.
