I recieved a call from Gary the manager at Wright Bros. Steakhouse (see posting last Friday) yesterday morning. He apologized profusely and said that he would like us to try the steakhouse again, he is offering us a free meal so that we will give them another chance. I hesitated, really I did, but then I figured what the heck. I told him I had to pass his restaurant later that evening and I would stop by and pick up the gift certificate.
After doing a little shopping over at PetSmart and Bed, Bath and Beyond we stopped to Wright Bros. so I could pick up the gift certificate. Again he apologized and hoped we would come back and try them again. When I got back into the car I looked at the amount and WOW! it was definitely more than what we paid for the dinner. But you know that is okay, how I look at it is that they are going to pay for a drink or two, an appetizer and dessert as an extra for waiting this long and stewing on their bad CS.
Actually after talking to both Randy and Greg I do not think they have bad CS anymore. They were the victims of a bad internet provider and perhaps even worse a bad system administrator. This lag from August 26 until now October - was all due to some of their emails bouncing. As far as the restaurant goes I hope they have increased their awareness on CS and now the manager, Greg, will stop to see his clients that have problems. Oh yeah Greg was the manager that was there that night, but not the one hovering near the kitchen. I remember seeing him there that night.
So sometime within the next week or so we will go for a hopefully, nice dinner. But it has to be soon as I will be leaving for Ct. the end of October to go play nanny again for my brother and sister-in-law for a couple of weeks. More on this later.
